It's been a nice weekend, but, when we drove up to Torphins to play the medal this morning, the temperature plumetted to almost zero just after 8:00 am. The greens, unlike Banchory. were in great nick, but needed switching as there was a heavy dew.
There wasn't as much as a breath of wind and Bill, Peter and I had a good laugh as we went round, despite none of us even making the buffer zone. Here we are on the 13th tee, with Deeside, Scolty and Clach-na-Ben in the distance behind us:
