IC day 1

We all got up nice and early and had breakfast in our villas - I'd pre-ordered some groceries - although I think I may have got the banana order wrong:


The concierge organised our pick-up to the clubhouse - Malcolm and Syd were getting very friendly in the front of the mini-bus:



I'd organised appropriate sponsors for the Iberian Cup - and they had their banner on the driving range:

The forecast was for wall to wall sunshine and temperature in the 80's, but the clouds never burned off. We brought forward our 2:00 pm tee time - just as well as it was almost dark when we finished. We only managed 8 of us on the 1st tee in uniform for the traditional team photograph:

The longest drive hole was a near impossible 185 carry over crap - here's Peter having a go:
