As you can see, the weather was beautiful and we had a great laugh in our group - including Hugh, trying to steal the show as usual, when he bent over to pick up his ball, he fell over and we looked round and saw him lying flat out in the rough!
This picture of the Dee at the 12th tee doesn't quite do justice to what we actually saw - mists rising from the river:
There has been some tree planting going on - well, three tiny little ones between the 13th and 15th fairways anyway - so small that when I tried to point to them, they were mostly beneath camera height:

Afterwards we had our beers (Nechtan - my birthday ale) on the balcony as it was so pleasantly warm and still. I wished I'd worn my shorts.
When I got up on Sunday, I looked out - blue skies all round, and although the car was covered in frost, I felt sure it was bound to heat up, and I wasn't going to make the same mistake as Saturday, so on with the shorts. I was met with looks of incredulity on the first tee - everyone else was wrapped up for winter golf:
