Sunday golf

From http://bsvgolf.blogspot.com/

Dan slept in and Dave was a late withdrawal, having suffered a finger injury; Bill and Peter were playing at Torphins, Archie is away on holiday and Dick wasn't available, but we still managed a healthy turnout of six for the Sunday morning bounce game, including two of the overseas contingent in Harry and Ken P.

Unlike the glorious day on Saturday, it was overcast but mild, still and dry. The course is looking really good and the greens are quick and true - a bit slower this morning as they were a little damp, but good surfaces - hope they manage to keep them that way this year and we get 3 months of good greens, instead of the usual 3 weeks.

Two excellent beers afterwards too - what could be better? We did have one notifiable incident, the Lady Captain was away golfing in Nairn, but her consort was spotted in the clubhouse taking her call on his mobile - is this a sackable offence?
