'Twas another bleakish day in this summer of discontent and the 11 who played the morning round - I missed it as I had to go to the office - were a little disconsolate and wet when they joined me in the clubhouse for lunch, but some Ossian and Latitude soon cheered at least some of them up.
The afternoon started a little damp, but it was never anywhere near as dire as forecast and conditions were almost acceptable in the end. Here's the 3 teams that played Rosemount:

When we got a bit too close for comfort, Daddy Deer appeared and Mummy and Baby then scarpered pronto.
Winner on the day was Les, with 32 points, just beating Dick on countback. Here's Peter presenting him with his prize balls:
Bill had the best score in the morning round the Wee course - 23 points.
Despite the weather, it was a good day out at a great location. Nice facilities, good food and beer, and our own, semi-private room to watch the US Open - let's hope for better weather next year. Thanks to Peter for organising.
