Summer Tour 2012

From http://bsvgolf.blogspot.com/

Our first ever golf tour to Dunfries and Galloway - and what a great start. We really dodged a bullet. We drove through lashing rain all the way from Dundee south, until we came in to the Borders area, where the skies started to clear and, by the time we teed off at beautiful Southerness on the Solway Firth, it was bright sunshine and shorts were the order of the day - for Ian and I anyway:

Super course, great weather - what more did we need? Winner on the day was Ian McRae with a very healthy 34 points. Here's JT presenting him with his winner's ball back at our hotel:

I did a clean sweep of the other prizes - both Nearest the Pins and the Longest Drive, and our team - Syd, Ian, Bob and I comfortably beat the 2 Johns, Peter and Rob.

We had dinner at night and then gatecrashed the ballroom where there was an Abba tribute band playing:

Powfoot today - dry so far - fingers crossed.
