8 of us headed north yesterday for our first ever outing to the spectacular Castle Stuart course. We left Banchory's blue skies behind once we went over the Lecht, but it was dry and mild - and surprisingly windless - the Moray Firth was completely becalmed.
Here's our group on the huge putting green in front of the clubhouse, and again on the 1st tee:
Some views of the course and the surrounding area:
A great day out - welcoming staff and nice clubhouse and practice facilities to boot. For the record, the results were:
Taylor, Dick | 36 |
Gray, Les | 35 |
Freeman, Syd | 34 |
Stewart, Ian | 33 |
Bhagrath, Jas | 32 |
Street, Peter | 31 |
Salter, Harry | 29 |
Gray, Keith | 22 |
Les, Dick, Harry and Jas won the team competition by 84 points to 82 (best two scores), and Les and I had the NP's and Peter the LD.
