Jack and I turned up early this morning and didn't fancy the underfoot or overhead conditions at the time - or the forecast - so we texted everyone to tell them we weren't playing and headed to the clubhouse for tea and coffee.
Syd acknowledged our text and said he wouldn't bother travelling down from Torphins either, but, lo and behold, Peter and Ian then turned up and said they wanted to play. Jack then relented and they were joined on the first tee by Jas:
I went home and cosied up with the papers and the golf from SA on TV - good choice, I think.
