IC XVI - 3 day round-up

Nigel was, indeed, confirmed as the winner on Day 1 at Gloria Old, on countback from Les. Day 2 was even closer - Jas, Malcolm and Bill all finished on 36 points at the Pasha, and it went down to the last 6 holes to finally decide it was Bill who got it.

Incidentally, we were very lucky with the weather yesterday. The morning thunderstorms cleared in time for us to play our round in the dry - although there were several nasty and dangerous forked lightning flashes as we played the last hole. We couldn't wait to get off the course and head for the safety of the clubhouse.

Today the weather was beautiful once more as we played Gloria New. Malcolm came out on top this time with 34 points.

Here's the line-up of daily winners receiving their prizes:

Some of the above presentations were made without a prize ball present - hence the doubling-up of photos.

Syd tried to give Kenneth a run for his money in the garish outfits contest today:

Les and Malcolm are neck and neck on 98 points after 3 rounds, although Malcolm is potentially 3 points better off with a lower score to drop. Nigel is next on 96 and also leads the Eclectic with 50 points - 4 ahead of Les and 5 ahead of Malcolm.

Dinner last night was in the Aegean restaurant and tonight it's the Fish restaurant - after sundowners at the pier bar.
