Midsummer Outing

As Rob would say, we were lucky puppies yesterday - we escaped the heavy showers that seemed to be all over the country - we watched some pretty heavy looking ones over Dundee blow out to sea and bypass us completely. That was the good news - the not quite so good news was that it was the wind that was keeping the showers away from us - and it was pretty blowy at times - close to unplayable as the ball oscillated on the greens and threatened to blow off the tees as we were lining up our putts and drives.

Here's the teams lined up on the 1st tee at the Kittocks course at St Andrews Bay:

As usual, beer afterwards was in the Whey Pat - the Bitter & Twisted was excellent:

What was Ian thinking about?
Annette also joined us for the curry at the Balaka afterwards. Ten of us were specially seated in a separate ante room at the back of the restaurant - our reputation precedes us again!
