My first sighting of the new bench at the 10th tee last night:
Now the stats:
- Les' first win in over 3 years
- Les was the 12th separate weekly winner this year
- Hugh, regrettably, notched up his 4th DoD this year
- Ian Sharp was the only one of the leaders to improve his top 10 score
Every time the rest of us get near to him, Ian just edges away again. I had got to within a point a couple of weeks ago, but now the gap at the top has stretched again to 6 points. To present any kind of challenge, at least one more 40 pointer is required in the last couple of weeks - not impossible, but it looks unlikely.
The full details have already been published on the Yahoo site file and, realistically, here's the only ones with even an outside chance of winning the Quaich in this, its 20th year (dropping scores in brackets):
