Q16

From http://bsvgolf.blogspot.com/

No thanks to Rob, I've managed to update the database with yesterday's 13 scores. For the record, they were:

  1. Pollard, Rob 43
  2. Simpson, Jack 40
  3. Fulford, Steve 40
  4. Stewart, Ian 38
  5. Sharp, Ian 37
  6. McWhinnie, John 37
  7. Corbett, Daniel 35
  8. Taylor, Dick 35
  9. Gray, Keith 35
  10. Riches, Hugh 30
  11. McRae, Ian 30
  12. Gray, Les 30
  13. Cook, Archie 27
Rob's terrific score of 43 points was the best of this season - so far. It was Rob's 2nd win of 2011, whereas it was Archie's first DoD since July last year.

Scoring was pretty good, with three 40 pointers - the best of the season so far, taking the total for 2011 up to 13, which is now ahead of the running rate for the last couple of years.

Just 7 weeks left to go in this year's Quaich (but only 4 for me), and the Top 10 from the Leader Board, with dropping scores in brackets, now looks like:
  1. Stewart, Ian 380 (34)
  2. Sharp, Ian 368 (32)
  3. Pollard, Rob 364 (33)
  4. Corbett, Daniel 363 (31)
  5. Simpson, Jack 347 (31)
  6. Taylor, Dick 331 (30)
  7. Riches, Hugh 309 (23)
  8.  McRae, Ian 300 (27)
  9. Gray, Keith 284
  10. Meaden, John 205
Full details already posted on the Yahoo site.

As Rob said, it was a glorious evening, but shadows are beginning to lengthen:
