Back to our home course again today - but one of the nines was different this time. A beautiful day again and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. No holes in one today and the OAP's v Whippersnappers match ended in a friendly half so that the overall score in this match is now six and a half v five and a half - all still to play for.
It was Syd's turn again today with 30 points and here he is receiving the ball from Keith at lunch poolside:
Two days of golf left now and the leader board is fairly tight. Counting only the current top 3 scores (assuming the lowest score will be dropped off by the end of the week), it looks like this:
Stewart, Ian | 91 |
Freeman, Syd | 89 |
Grigor, Malcolm | 83 |
Page, Ken | 74 |
Whyman, Bill | 74 |
Gray, Keith | 72 |
Taylor, Dick | 72 |
Meany, Nigel | 71 |
McRae, Ian | 69 |
Corbett, Dan | 66 |
Street, Peter | 64 |
Bhagrath, Jas | 57 |
Syd and I each have 2 wins the daily DoD's have been Jas (3) and Malcolm. The lowest scoring day so far was on Sunday at the National with an average of 20.5 points, ranging from 13 to 30.
I think everyone is enjoying the all-inclusive experience, especially those that haven't been to Turkey before. It lacks for nothing and is the best of everything and nobody puts their hand in their pocket for anything.
The Eclectic so far is:
Ian S | 48 |
Syd | 44 |
Bill | 42 |
Dick | 42 |
Keith | 41 |
Peter | 41 |
Ian McR | 40 |
Ken | 40 |
Malcolm | 40 |
Nigel | 39 |
Dan | 38 |
Jas | 36 |
Another restaurant tonight - we've done Asian, Italian and American ones, but tonight it's Turkish.
