No problems with travel to Turkey - other than Turkish airlines briefly losing Ken's bag somewhere between Basra, Istanbul and Antalya. Heading east makes watching the Masters difficult, however, especially when there's a play-off and we've got an early morning tee time.
Yesterday at the National was great, although scores were pretty shocking despite the fact that we were virtually playing off the Ladies' tees. Today, however, a storm passed through the area. We were fine in the morning - although it was cool and cloudy - but the afternoon golfers got properly wet and there was thunder and lightning around.
For the record, the Maestro did the business with 30 points yesterday and it was my turn today with 33 points. Here we are receiving our prize 2013 BSV logo'd balls from the daily organisers:
More to follow - suffice to add that the OAP's thumped the Whippersnappers yesterday, but the younger lads eked out a narrow 2-1 win today, so the match score so far is 4-2 for the OAP's.
