IC XV - day 2

It may be the smallest ever attendance at the Iberian Cup, but the weather and the golf courses have been great so far - and we had a lovely meal last night at First Love Italian Restaurant.

Today at Las Americas, I repeated my win yesterday at Costa Adeje and here's Jas presenting me with the winner's ball - another one for the collection:

Previous attendees will recognise this spot where we have lunch on the terrace at the golf club. Some old friends had gone missing, however - normally we are joined by a large Ibis, but they never came near us this time.

With Ken now with us, today was our first proper match day and the slightly younger Vintage team comfortably beat the Venerables to go one up in the 5 match series.

After 2 days, I'm in the lead in the race for the last Major of the season with 65 points, with the rest trailing 10 or more points behind - but it's very early days yet. Tomorrow we head across the sea to La Gomera to play beautiful Tecina.

One photo from last night - the beer barrel ran out before Archie got his pint, but they managed to squeeze out a small one for him:

That's all for now folks. Intermittent blogs due to poor connectivity - but I'll catch up with all the gory details eventually. You have been warned.
