IC XV - day 3

This blog posting is (partially) coming to you from the Fred Olsen ferry back from lovely La Gomera to the main island. Tecina didn't disappoint - it never does and today was no exception. Stunning views everywhere and a golf course that looks like a garden.

Ken did the business today with a fine total of 34 points, followed by me with 32. Ken also got the Longest Drive, and Jas and I the NP's. Jas very nearly had a hole in one at the 4th hole - just inches away.

The Vintage team once more took care of the Venerables and move in to a 2-0 lead in the 5-match series.

Here's Ken receiving his prize ball:

Leading scores after 3 rounds (just 2 for Ken) are:

Stewart Ian 97
Cook, Archie 78
Taylor Dick 76
Bhagrath Jas 76
Grigor, Malcolm 73
Page Ken 63

The Eclectic scores are:

Ian S 47
Jas 45
Dick 39
Ken 39
Malcolm 38
Archie 38

Last night, Jas took us to one of the local bars for pre-dinner aperitifs. Classy joint it was:

After dinner, we went to another bar to watch Champions League football and Ken spotted an appropriate advert in this less than upmarket area:

To close, time for a team photo - this one at Tecina today:

Tomorrow Golf del Sur. Ken asked if that was in the north of the island?!!!! Tonight dinner and more Champions League.
