Q9

Ian D gets in the photo again this week - presenting the winner's ball to Harry - but he's still got some work to do before he takes up a modelling career:

Bit more of a grin next time, perhaps, Ian?

It was Gordon's first DoD for 5 years, which coincidentally was the year of his last win as well. Now that he's got his cataracts fixed, perhaps he'll be back in the winner's circle this year?

Dick remains technically in the lead - by just one point - but Ian D is virtually a shoo-in for the Quaich this year, it seems. He has played a game less than Dick and his average score is already 36.7, with two 40-pointers on the board already. Here's the current Top 10:

              Top 10          Apps.
1 Taylor, Dick 258 8
2 Dring, Ian 257 7
3 Stewart, Ian 251 8
4 Dickinson, Chris 235 7
5 Corbett, Daniel 198 7
6 Simpson, Jack 195 7
7 Pollard, Rob 188 6
8 McRae, Ian 175 6
9 Meaden, John 170 6
10 Cook, Archie 148 5

The leaders will be dropping off their low scores in a couple of weeks as we edge towards the halfway point in the season.
