Tayside Autumn IV

It was the 4th time we had had an Autumn outing in Tayside. The first two years had seen us playing Monifeith and last year it was Forfar. This time we tried something new - Arbroath - and all 8 of us were very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was - a little gem.

The sky looked a little threatening as we drove down, but the front disappeared earlier than forecast and conditions were very pleasant with us all taking sweaters off after a few holes.

The club there is called Arbroath Artisans and we were very well looked after, catering-wise, despite the fact that there was an outing of 50 + caddies from Carnoustie playing behind us. Here's the team photo:

Raymond and Jas got the NP's and Chris the LD. The team competition (best 3 scores at each hole) was won by Raymond, John, Chris and I with 113 points - a margin of 7.
