Summer Tour - day 3

Monday morning - time to check out of our hotel. There was a brief gathering of the clans, awaiting the drivers:

When we got to Oakdale Golf Club, there was time for a few minor SM's - Sally came to the rescue of a few who had taken their bulky room keys away with them:

Again, we were in good time and able to relax before our 9:30 am tee time. This shot was taken from the 1st tee looking down towards the 1st fairway (on the left) and the 18th (on the right):

Peter's excellent 39 points on Monday stopped me from having a clean sweep of the weekend, and he was presented with his prize ball:

The overall winner of the Summer Tour trophy, however, was me, and George was tasked with capturing the moment for posterity when Syd handed me the statuette:

Quite the worst presentation photo ever taken, don't you think?
A somewhat better effort was made by Doris when it came to capturing the team on the terrace (Bill and Sally had had to depart to catch their ferry to the continent):

And that was that. A great tour - one of our best - despite a few fractious moments along the way - don't ever ask which tees we are going to play off, or what we are doing for dinner!
