Day 2 was a very short trip to Bendinat, which turned out to be a pretty tricky - and confusing - course - lots of adjacent and even criss-cross fairways, which didn't help the pace of play and we again had a five and a half hour round. Huge distances between greens and tees, allied to changes in elevation, made this course virtually unwalkable - thankfully we had buggies. It was literally mountain goat country:

Dick was the only one to get a decent score - his 31 points won easily and here he is receiving his prize ball back at the terrace bar at our hotel again:
In the evening we went to a very popular restaurant up in the hills, where there was much discussion about whether one of our fellow diners was Ulrika Jonsson - or not. We decided that, if it was indeed her, then she'd had a hard time recently!
