Boat of Garten LXVIII

Well done to Gordon, the winner of our 68th outing to Boat of Garten - and to Ken P for organising the event. Ken has already done the match report but I'll add a few stats:

• Gordon's win was his 2nd, joining John D, Chris & Harry
• There are 12 solo winners on the trophy and one 3-time winner (Terry)
• Ken and Malcolm each have 4 wins, while Dick has 5
• Dave and I each have 7 wins, while Les has 8
• Syd remains in front with 10 wins, the last of which came 5 years ago
• The event was rained off once (September 1992)
• It was the 33rd time we have played Grantown
• Abernethy is the next most played with 10, the last of which was in 2001
• Kingussie has been played 8 times, the last being in 1999
• Spey Valley (6) was last played in 2010
• Nairn was played twice and there were solo outings to Newtonmore, Carrbridge and Ballindalloch
