Another beautiful day - getting warmer every day - and our 3rd game at Palmeraie. We made the usual short stroll from our apartments down to the beautiful poolside rotunda restaurant for breakfast:
From there to reception to catch the shuttle to the course. Our monogrammed team shoe bags neatly stood to attention as we waited:
The first tee:
Nigel ran in to a bit of prickly trouble at the 12th:
Just like Malcolm yesterday, I won today after coming 2nd on countback 2 days previously:
We waited at the golf club again as Ian and Dan attempted to pursue the claim for the stolen watch, and it was time for a quick snooze for some:
Again, we had plenty of time when we did eventually get back to the Village for a snooze, some rays and a swim. The pool was massive - a full, lung-bursting 50 metres - and was still pretty bracing on entry, but a few of us managed a dip, including a well-known thin blood:
Dinner in the evening was back in to the city, this time right inside the Medina to the most beautiful Dar Yacout restaurant. We stepped inside to an open courtyard in the middle of the 12th century former palace - it was stunning. On the rooftop, under bright moonlight, we took in the sights of the city and posed for another photo:
The meal itself was a set menu - this was the starter course:
The next two courses were both entrees - the first chicken, and the second shoulder of lamb, both expertly de-boned at our table by a waiter with just a pair of spoons. Musicians played and their headgear was too tempting for some - Ian tried the twirling fez trick - failed:
Dick merely posed:
Fantastic experience.
