Q1 - Sharp Attack

As Rob reported, Ian's drive on the 5th was pulled left - I managed to duck when I heard the shout, but the ball passed my head and clunked Harry square on his calf muscle as he tried in vain to take evasive action. Here's the damage:


It's not just the pink cherry blossom that's been tempted out early by the unseasonal weather (new Scottish temperature records for March in the last 3 days):


Rob's challenge to me was to produce evidence from prior years of short wearing Quaichers in March. Of course, some years the Quaich didn't actually start until April. I found one shot from 4th April, 2007 and that was the earliest photo evidence from the Quaich that I could lay my hands on:


Fractionally earlier - although not in the Quaich - from Sunday 3rd April, 2005:


There's loads of April short-wearing years, but Rob's right - this could have been the first ever March short-wearing season.
