Q10

From http://bsvgolf.blogspot.com/

Rob's very prompt report for last night omitted to tell the tale of the wedge. Rob "lost" his wedge round about the 9th/10th hole and asked us if we'd seen it. We hadn't, so he then proceeded to enquire with every group playing behind us, but all to no avail.

We played all the way round to the 17th hole and Ken was about to play his approach to the green. He looked in his bag and pulled out 2 different wedges, then quietly sidled over to me to seek advice - should we tell Rob now or later? He came clean in the end:

Mr. Sharp's first win of the season and Mr. Pollard's second DoD last night. Ian's winning total of 36 points equalled Syd's lowest winning score this season on 6th April.

Despite being spread out a bit, it was another decent attendance - 14 in week 10 takes the total number of rounds played this season up to 106 - an average of 11.8 for the 9 weeks we've actually played. At the same time last year, our average was only 9.6.

For those that can't access the Excel spreadsheet through the Yahoo link, here's a quick summary of the current positions and points scored this season, with the number of rounds played to date:
